I was a professional dancer when I met ‘Nonviolent Communication (NVC)’ in 2001. While learning it, slowly I became more and more passionate about it, until I stopped all my artistic activities in order to dedicate my full time and energy to it.
Since then, I am full-time teaching ‘NVC’ internationally to teachers in schools, university students, parents, businesses, teams and the general public.
I regularly teach in The Netherlands, France, Israel, Japan, Belgium, Poland, USA, Italy, Swiss and many more.
In September 2015, together with 3 others we opened ‘LIFE!’ (stands for 'Learning In Free Environment')- An NVC & Democratic school in North of Amsterdam, for children age 4-21. www.come2life.nl

I am passionate about embodying ‘NVC’. To me, ‘NVC’ is not a theory but a concrete tool- A HOW TO live and manifest my most deep values and dreams in millions of everyday life situations:
* HOW TO be fully honest (and in a way that doesn’t scare people away...)
* HOW TO live ‘compassion’ and ‘empathy’- not only on my meditation-cushion, but in every day life.
* HOW TO create connection, cooperation, respect, love, freedom, peace and meaning.
* HOW TO see ‘human beings’, even when these ‘human beings’ do things I really don’t like…
